What certificate will I get?

First Aid Solutions Training offers three different certificates in two version either an e-certificate or hard copy

Stand alone e-Learning certificates are designed to be used in a portfolio showing self-development.
The First Aid Solutions Training certificates are accredited recognised and widely accepted across the UK, Ireland and some parts of Europe.
Ofqual-regulated, these certificates are offered to learners which may require certificates to facilitate funding claims or learner demand and come at an additional cost.

An added feature of the 2nd certificate is you get a business size card card which you are able to carry around with you.

Are the certificates recognised?

Short Answer: Yes

First Aid solutions Training Aims to align with Health and Safety Executive HSE requirements. But you can be assured that the Accredited and Regulated Qualifications are nationally accepted throughout many Industries including the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

Furthermore, each learner who complete face to face learning would qualify for Universities and Colleges Admissions UCAS points, meaning they are able to contribute to their progression into higher education. While universities will have their own entry requirements, this new points system gives learners the opportunity to generate more UCAS points to support their progression into university.

First Aid Solutions Training aims to offer different discounts throughout the year, however their are ongoing saving below:

Please Note these discounts apply to either standard or blended courses. And all employees must be from the same company for discount to apply.

Is there a dress code?

There is no set dress code, but it is recommended that casual clothes as you will be required to undertake practical elements in the class.

Is there any equipment I need

All that is needed is a pen and writing pad so you are able to make any necessary notes.

What qualification do I need for the Security Industry Authority

First Aid Training Solutions offers courses suitable for the Security Industry Authority, weather it is door supervision or security, furthermore you also need to do this is you are renewing your licence or applying for the first time.

The qualification required is an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate or equivalent

Equivalent courses are as follow:

First Aid at Work (FAW)
First Person on Scene (FPOS)
First Response Emergency Care (FREC)

Is there any additional support?

First Aid Solutions Training understands that everyone as different abilities, and may require additional support, not only can individuals ask questions while training but as a part of the services all participants who undertake and complete the course will be granted access to there own personal online suite which includes different downloadable content, for example any legislative documents, and links to any relevant resources or student manuals for the subject they have completed, CPD/UCAS credits and a variety of other downloads. Furthermore you have full access for 8 months so you are able to stay up to date and refresh any information, so all this will enhance the learners ability making First Aid Solutions a ideal choice.

Do I need to travel?

No, you dont need to travel if you reside within Stoke on Trent, first aid training can be delivered at your location. However if you live outsdie of Stoke on Trent and wish to attend then you will need to travel.
