Are the certificates recognised?
Short Answer: Yes
First Aid solutions Training Aims to align with Health and Safety Executive HSE requirements. But you can be assured that the Accredited and Regulated Qualifications are nationally accepted throughout many Industries including the Security Industry Authority (SIA)
Furthermore, each learner who complete face to face learning would qualify for Universities and Colleges Admissions UCAS points, meaning they are able to contribute to their progression into higher education. While universities will have their own entry requirements, this new points system gives learners the opportunity to generate more UCAS points to support their progression into university.

Please Note these discounts apply to either standard or blended courses. And all employees must be from the same company for discount to apply.
Is there a dress code?
There is no set dress code, but it is recommended that casual clothes as you will be required to undertake practical elements in the class.
Is there any equipment I need
All that is needed is a pen and writing pad so you are able to make any necessary notes.
What qualification do I need for the Security Industry Authority
First Aid Training Solutions offers courses suitable for the Security Industry Authority, weather it is door supervision or security, furthermore you also need to do this is you are renewing your licence or applying for the first time.
The qualification required is an Emergency First Aid at Work certificate or equivalent
Equivalent courses are as follow:
- First Aid at Work (FAW)
- First Person on Scene (FPOS)
- First Response Emergency Care (FREC)

Is there any additional support?
Do I need to travel?
No, you dont need to travel if you reside within Stoke on Trent, first aid training can be delivered at your location. However if you live outsdie of Stoke on Trent and wish to attend then you will need to travel.
